About 12 months ago we started to review our host server environment. We knew this was going to be a growth area for the business going forward with lots of requests to go hosted instead of having the overhead of a local server plus our existing host environment was reaching its capacity.
We have invested a significant amount in our new hosted environment and have now migrated the first customers across. Once we have monitored these moves and are happy they have been successful we will start a full rollout to all of our hosted customers, which we hope to complete very soon.
The new server setup will give us a great increase in capacity, improved system monitoring including better response times and disaster recovery tools and a more stable platform to build upon in the future.
