Swan has added another EFT payments partner to our portfolio in the form of Optomany. The decision to partner with them was based on requests from our customers.
There are a number of changes taking place in the EFTPoS arena, with payment entry devices (PED) becoming end of life as technology evolves, changes to the Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards, customers requesting contactless and apple/android payment options and retailers looking to move acquirers to save money. As such we felt that the time was right to become accredited with another payment solution provider to give our customer base an alternative.
Optomany is one of the newest names in the payment processing arena, but they have a rich heritage and a management team responsible for delivering many payment sector firsts. In addition to a new provider partner, Swan have integrated with Verifone’s new mobile PED the E355. This device has Bluetooth or WiFi connectivity to a tablet or EPoS terminal running the Swan or Midas EPoS applications. The device opens up the world of remote card payments for table service, outdoor events or just giving more flexibility on the shop floor!
