A long-established footwear retailer has recently upgraded their retail software to TRIMS, together with our ClearAccept payment solution.
W J French is the oldest and largest independent shoe shop in Hampshire and remains a family-run business, trading in Southampton since 1803. Remarkably, the store is now in the hands of the eighth generation of the French family, after it all began with Francis French starting as an apprentice shoemaker in 1794.
Finding the Right Fit with a New Retail System
After deciding to upgrade their retail system, W J French chose TRIMS from our colleagues at Touchretail to efficiently handle their day-to-day retailing. The ability to seamlessly integrate their retail system with their eCommerce website was another important advantage of TRIMS. Since going live in July, the integration has eliminated wasted admin time by synchronising all information between the physical and online stores.
