Department store revival saw another reopening this month, with the new Beales Southport store welcoming hundreds of queuing shoppers.
We have been working with Beales on their exciting reopening journey since it began last year. So, we are delighted to see another iconic department store open its doors again.
On 12th August, Lord Street in Southport saw crowds of customers gather to be among the first to step into the refurbished Beales store. It became the first store owners, New Start 2020, have reopened in the north. It follows the reinstatement of the Poole and Peterborough stores in August last year and May this year, respectively.
The Swan team have worked closely with Beales to slicken their retail operations and integrate their software. With a combination of in-store and online sales channels, Beales use Swan Retail System (SRS), our Shopify integration and Cygnus EPoS.
We look forward to seeing the Beales brand continue to regrow and regenerate the High Streets they occupy.
