Finance Admin Assistant
The Role
We have a new opening for a Finance Admin Assistant to join our dynamic team at Swan Retail. You will provide effective credit control for the three companies within Swan Group to obtain prompt payment and ensuring customers pay within our terms.
You will need to have good and accurate literacy, numeracy and administrative skills and the ability to analyse information to solve general queries.
Good planning and organisation skills are key for this role and you should be used to working under pressure to meet deadlines allowing flexibility and resilience.
Role Responsibilities
- To learn and understand the Company’s products and services
- To develop a knowledge and understanding of the customers across the Group
- Responsible for credit control
- Answering the Finance Team phone and dealing with visitors
- Updating customers credit safe information onto Sage
- Landlord/Building administrative issues
- Ensuring correct and organised saving of documents onto SharePoint
- Chasing missing invoices
- Booking hotels/transport for employees within the business
- Other general administrative duties
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of Sage desirable, but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive personality and proactive manner
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Good level of organisational skills
