Last month, we hosted a user group for our customers. The goal of the event was to have an open and honest conversation with our users on where Swan is heading and how we can continue to support the retailers who rely on our platform every day. Held across two days, the sessions brought together Swan Retail and Furniture Retail System users on day one, and TRIMS and CYGNUS customers on day two.

“Swan User Groups offer an invaluable opportunity for our team to connect face-to-face with the people who use our products every day, and to hear directly from them about how they’d like to see those products grow and evolve. It was a true privilege to welcome our customers to King Power Stadium this year for what were our biggest and most engaging sessions to date.”

Marc Brown, Director of Swan Retail

A space for real conversations

What stood out most was the quality of the conversations shared. Customers came ready to share their experiences, raise challenges, and offer ideas, and that spirit of openness made for genuinely valuable sessions.

“This kind of feedback is exactly why we host these events,” said Marc. “Hearing the realities of running a retail business from our customers helps us ensure Swan continues to build a product that works in the real world.”

A roadmap built around real retail needs

A strong theme across both sessions was how closely Swan’s product roadmap reflects our customers’ priorities and real-world needs. Marc noted it was encouraging to see that Swan’s approach to product development is clearly resonating. “Knowing that we’re solving the challenges retailers actually face gives us the confidence to keep innovating.”

Customers responded positively to the features and improvements on the horizon, and the conversations helped reinforce where Swan’s energy should be directed next.

What’s coming to the Swan platform

We shared several upcoming developments during the sessions, including the following:

Analytics – the introduction of ClearSight, a new data platform that gives retailers granular insight into their data. Users can connect BI tools directly, or access their data through Swan Retail’s dedicated portal. Future development will see the adoption of AI-powered analytics for deeper insight.

Payments – the ClearAccept payments suite continues to expand, building on the foundation already in place to support more payment scenarios and give retailers greater flexibility at the point of sale.

Integrations – a new iPaaS integration framework is in development, designed to simplify how Swan connects with other systems. This will open the door to new ecommerce integrations, including EKM.

In-store and warehouse operations – new mobile-first applications are coming for both store and warehouse teams, designed to support the day-to-day tasks that keep retail operations running smoothly.

RFID-powered inventory tracking – the exciting introduction of RFID technology for inventory management will help retailers improve stock accuracy, reduce shrinkage and increase product availability.

Thank you for connecting with Swan

It’s not every day we get to meet up with our customers face-to-face, so thank you for taking the time to join us. Your willingness to engage openly is what makes these events worthwhile and what makes Swan better. We look forward to continuing the conversion and delivering on the roadmap discussed.
