2nd Line Support Technician

New Business Sales Person

 

Position: 2nd Line Support Technician

Location: Waterlooville, Hampshire

Job Description

The right candidate will be a keen problem solver. You must have the ability to prioritise a busy and sometimes challenging workload and have an excellent telephone manner, for Swan’s external customer base. Helping resolve more in-depth issues with their software and systems and actively manage and promote the relationship between Swan and its customers. 

Job Duties

  • Logging all inbound calls/Emails and accurately recording information
  • To learn and understand the Company’s products
  • To communicate professionally with people at all levels.
  • Ensure follow-ups are logged and actioned
  • Escalations where necessary
  • Providing 2nd line remote support to our customers
  • Speaking to and assisting internal departments
  • Resolving queries in a timely manner
  • Ensure service levels are met

Experience & Skills

  • In order to apply for this rewarding position, in addition to a positive personality and proactive manner you'll need to be ideally experienced within a help desk / have 2nd line support experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential, as is a great telephone manner.
  • 1 or 2 years' experience with SQL.
  • An interest in technology and IT troubleshooting.
  • Good organisational skills.

Other skills that would be useful, but by no means essential are:

  • Experience of retail or hospitality markets,
  • Full UK driver’s licence.

Hours of Work

Core hours would be Monday to Friday, 09.00 to 17.30/weekend office based support on a 1 in 4 rota.

Requirement for occasional out of hours on-call work until 8pm

Position: New Business Sales Person

Location: Waterlooville, Hampshire

 

Swan is about to launch an innovative suite of Apps and a new generation of EPoS to complement our in-house developed ERP solution and this has created an additional position for a new business sales person based out of our head office to join the established sales and marketing team.

 

The ideal candidate should be confident, self-motivated, have excellent communication and organisational skills and a full driving licence. They should be experienced in new business sales, working within a team and be goal orientated.  

 

Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
