1st Line Support Analyst

Business Development Administrator

 

1st Line Support Analyst

Core hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30. 1 in 5 rota for weekend office based support. Requirement for occasional out of hours on-call work until 8pm

The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a 1st Line Support Analyst to join our team, playing a key role for the business in helping our customer to resolve issues with their software and systems, effectively managing and promoting the relationships between the business and their customers at all times.

In what will be a varied role, you will be responsible for providing timely 1st line remote support to customers supporting our bespoke retail application. As this is an application developed by their company, full training will be provided to the successful applicant. Responsibilities will include:

  • Logging all inbound calls/Emails and accurately recording information
  • To learn and understand the Company’s products.
  • To communicate professionally with people at all levels.
  • Ensure follow ups are logged and actioned
  • Deal with escalations where necessary
  • Speaking to and assisting internal departments
  • Resolving queries in a timely manner
  • Ensure service levels are met

 

About you

To be considered for this opportunity, ideally you will have some previous experience in providing IT technical support and it would be advantageous if you have an IT qualification as knowledge of IT/networking skills is essential. It is important that you possess excellent customer service skills and have the ability to work well to your own initiative in a proactive manner. Taking into consideration the nature of this position, you will need an excellent telephone manner and have good organisation skills.

What is just as important is that you are creative, able to pay meticulous attention to detail and are highly organised with the ability to multitask.

 

Business Development Administrator

The opportunity

In this varied position, you will play a really important role in providing an exceptional, effective administrative support service to the business development function. This role will be office-based, and you will be responsible for a wide-range of administrative duties for the business including supporting the Marketing Manager. This is a perfect opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking to develop a career in a sales or business development, working for a small and successful organisation where you can truly make a difference.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Delivering an efficient and effective administrative support service to the business development and marketing functions
  • Process and administer customer orders which will include inputting order information on the internal system and updating them accordingly, submitting information to accounts when appropriate to trigger the customer invoicing process
  • Providing customer quotations by email and telephone and updating the internal system
  • Administering the internal payment system
  • Managing and coordinating targeted sales campaigns to Swan customers
    • Creating and sending sales campaign information within the organisation
    • Liaising with customer and managing contact in relation to e-shots, newsletters organising events

 

About you

To be considered for this opportunity, it is important that you are self-motivated and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. It’s important that you have previous experience of working in a busy, office-based environment with specific administrative experience – ideally with an understanding of sales and business development. You will need to be able to prioritise effectively and balance multiple tasks, and it is important that you possess excellent customer service skills and have the ability to work well to your own initiative in a proactive manner. Taking into consideration the nature of this position, you will need an excellent telephone manner and have good organisation skills.
